Beach Substitute
Instead of cali and the beach, we stayed in vegas and went to a mountain. Not really the same as the beach… but it was still nice. :]

@Ayu1193 - haha I wish we could’ve climbed up that! I bet the view from the top would have been great :]
I actually used my regular old compact digital camera to take these ($80 camera). I really didn’t want to bring my clunky and expensive DSLR up for the hike ($600 camera).
If I accidently threw my compact camera off the mountain it’d be much less of a tragedy than if I dropped my DSLR off a cliff lol

@Ayu1193 - yeah it would’ve been a lot nicer to take some pics with the DLSR. It would’ve been cool to take some hd video with it too.
It was so awesome seeing the ice chunks fall all the way down the cliff face; it sounded like thunder! haha

@Ayu1193 - haha my friends were freaking out when i got really close to take some pictures. They thought an avalanche was going to come down and hit me! lol
It wasn’t that scary though, just a bit of snow and ice after all

@Tetsunosuke - i would have been freaking out if i was there! would have started to panic ahaha.
It’s not just snow and ice. its COLD! LOL
